By downloading, installing, or using the FYAW mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and FYAW (“we”, “us”, “our”).

FYAW is a self-search application that allows you to search for your own face across publicly accessible social media platforms and the web. The purpose is to help you discover where your image appears online.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use FYAW. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If we discover a user is under 18, their account will be terminated immediately.

You agree NOT to use FYAW for any of the following:

• Attempting to register or search with another person’s face — this is the most serious violation of these Terms;
• Stalking, harassing, monitoring, or tracking any other person;
• Illegal surveillance or unauthorized investigation of any individual;
• Any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law;
• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any security or identity verification feature;
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercializing search results;
• Automated access, scraping, or reverse engineering the App or its API;
• Providing false information during registration or the consent process.

Violation will result in immediate permanent account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

Before using the face scan feature, you must provide explicit informed consent as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that:

• The face you scan is your own;
• You are at least 18 years old;
• You understand that your face photos are discarded immediately after processing.

Some features of FYAW require an active paid subscription, managed through Google Play Billing.

• Subscription fees are charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are governed by Google Play’s refund policies.

All intellectual property in the App — including software, design, trademarks, and content — belongs to FYAW or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended personal purpose.

Search results returned by the App are sourced from publicly accessible third-party platforms. We do not claim ownership of that content.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of search results. Results depend on publicly available information on third-party platforms, which we do not control. Face matching is probabilistic — results may include false positives or miss matches.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FYAW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon deletion, your face profile and account data are permanently erased from our servers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine you have violated these Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
